The firm is located on the wine route, Palermo-Sciacca, which links up the Tyrrhenian Coast to the Channel of Sicily.
We are situated in the territory of Monreale, known throughout the world for its Arab-Norman monuments, centered in the Belice Valley, an undisputed grapes and olives belt, featuring rolling hills one after another that gently rise from the banks of the river Belice and a mild and sunny climate.
The lot is 70 hectares wide. The land cultivation is diversified into the vineyard, oliveyard and cereals.
The cellar is located in the center of the winery, as well as a wine store and a farmhouse catering area.
The vineyard, which stretches out over the Conca d’Oro and Pietragnella hills, about 300 m above sea level, is privileged by a southernly exposure, altitude and the quality of the soil. The harvest of the espalier cultivated 30 hectares, Guyot pruned, produces white berry grapes like Inzolia, Cataratto and Grecanico and red berries grapes like Nero D’Avola, Perricone, Syrah. The newly picked grapes of the same kind are juiced in the nearby cellar, following the ripening parameters.
The production line is technically the most advanced and up to date to achieve pleasant scented, smooth flavoured wines supported by a good acidity enhancing the typicalness and the genuiness of our product. Furthermore, a wine store finds its place in the firm’s center where it’s possible to taste our wines in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
15 hectares olive yard spreads over the Pietragnella hills like a wavering sea of leaves. The planted cultivars are mostly Nocellara and Biancolilla.
The manually picked olives produce a mild fruity extra virgin oil with very low acidity, well balanced and harmonious as well.
Its scent features fresh grass and tomato-like feelings while, once tasted, perceptions of sweet almond.
